“You are in a fullness of time” I heard the Holy Spirit say
a few days ago so I shared it briefly in a previous word but felt it is
important to highlight it again and reveal the revelation keys I believe Lord
doesn’t wasn’t us to miss.
I write this on Resurrection Sunday, and I believe that
TODAY something profound has shifted. You have crossed over through the
threshold of a strategic doorway… the next eight weeks are going to be
significant markers of seeing promise fulfilled as you take new territory and
new ground. As the Holy Spirit so often does with many of us these days, He
will highlight a specific number that prophetically correlates to the time He
is speaking into. Most recently, I have been seeing the number eight, or more
specifically, 888. As I began to study its biblical significance, I found that
that the number eight’s Hebrew origins are defined to literally mean, ‘to make
fat.’ I want to point out a number of the prophetic meanings found within the
bible that refer to the number eight and then I will explain how they point prophetically
to this season of fullness right now:
COVENANT
- In Genesis 17:10, the Lord instructs
the Israelites to circumcise their newborns on their eighth day as a sign of
their supernatural covenant with Him. Jesus, too, was taken to the temple for this
ritual on his eighth day after birth. - The Lord reaffirmed His covenant to
Abraham eight times.
NEW BEGINNINGS
- The eighth letter of the Hebrew
alphabet is Chet. It has a pictoral meaning of a door, entrance or a new
beginning. The picture is known to resemble the doorways of which the
Israelites painted the blood of lambs for the first Passover. Amazingly, the
word ‘chet’ is connected to the word ‘chai’, which is short for ‘chayim’ or..
life. It can therefore denote the meaning ‘doorway of life.’ Jesus is our
doorway of life and new beginnings. - Chet can also represent, to bind, to
surround and to hold things together. - In the days of the flood, there were
eight people saved on the Ark, including Noah.
SUPERNATURAL POWER
- Jesus was supernaturally transfigured
on the eighth day (Luke 9:28-29)
TABERNACLE
- The tabernacle was dedicated in an
eight-day ceremony (2 Chronicles 7:9) - The Israelites still celebrate this in
the late Sukkot festival of Channukah, an eight day feast.
RESURRECTION
- The resurrection of Jesus occurred on
Sunday, the first day of the week and simultaneously the eighth. Understanding that the Hebrew calendar was
counted differently than the Gregorian, we recognize that it was also
considered the eighth day of the week.
FAITH
- Jesus appeared to ‘doubting’ Thomas on
the eighth day.
DISCIPLESHIP
- The picture of the 8th letter in the
bible, can also resemble the crowned man, a man and a yoke tying them together.
Jesus and you are tied together by His yoke – and His yoke is easy and His
burden is light. - Every demonic or man made yoke that has
been on you, limiting you, or disabling you is being removed.
REST
- The old Covenant points prophetically
to the finished work of the cross, Jesus rose on the Sabbath and therefore, we
now enter into that rest. Leviticus 23:36-39
THE CYCLE EXODUS
So what does all of this mean for right now? How does it
make sense for your life at this very moment in time? And what does a fullness
of time mean? Seven represents the fullness and completion of a cycle (He
created the earth in seven days), and eight is a new beginning, a new
covenantal era through Him… it is stepping out of natural striving and into
supernatural thriving. What you tried to make happen in the past seasons, will
supernaturally happen in this new time. Perhaps the cycle you are leaving behind
is a relatively difficult one.
CROSSING THE THRESHOLD
I believe many in the body of Christ have been in a place of
transition, which can be a trying time when you are not able to see clearly
what is ahead, but that season has finished… today marks the fullness of its
time. You are crossing over through the threshold of the doorway of life and
into a new assignment. I see new mantles being released in this hour,
unexpected and new assignments. I see contracts being signed that you were
striving and trying to make happen in the past season… but in this new time,
those contracts you have been praying for will come flying to you. I see many
sons and daughters rising to places of prominence within the entertainment
industry, media, government, education and business mountains. I hear the Holy
Spirit saying, “do not fear as you get swiftly thrusted into promotion, for I
am with you. I have gone before you and I have prepared the way for you. Trust
in my faithfulness… you have been prepared for this very moment.”
A NEW INVITATION TO PARTNER
Just as God reaffirmed His covenant to Abraham, He is
reaffirming His covenant to you right now. This is a strategic time, a pivotal
moment to get out the prophetic words spoken over your life and wage war with
them. Speak them, decree them, shout them! They are God’s covenant to you.
Jesus is the essence of the new covenant, and what He speaks – He does not
break, but He does require you to partner with Him. This yet again points to
the significance of our discipleship with Him – we are firmly held by Him and
for His purposes – so stop letting your heart be confused and troubled.
PREPARE TO TAKE HOLD OF LONG-AWAITED PROMISES, AND NEW ASSIGNMENTS.
This is a TIME of SIGNIFICANT ADVANCEMENT in the body of
Christ, and it is going to take place through our partnership with His
SUPER-NATURAL abilities. I hear the Holy Spirit saying over you today, there
are new governmental territories in the spirit for you to conquer, new terrain
to take charge of in the heavenlies. I believe we are going to begin to see
profound advancement on the seven mountains of influence as the people of God
recognize that they are the living tabernacles and begin to take back enemy
strongholds.
As you walk into this new territory, remember it is not by
your might, but by His strength and power, leaning into Him will cause the
strength of His might to surround you and protect you as you flatten mountains
before you. Again, this will be a partnership of dependence upon Him. I believe
we are about to see the greatest outpourings of His supernatural power that the
world has ever seen- and it is all going to take place THROUGH the finished
work of the cross. Not by striving, but by His power. This power will flow in
and through you, the tabernacles of His Spirit as you rest in the fulfilled
covenant of Jesus… the doorway of life. Don’t be like doubting Thomas in this
moment of time, who didn’t believe in Jesus’ resurrection and supernatural
power, but be like Joshua and Caleb, who saw the layout of the land before them
and say, ‘yes, we believe. We believe in the power and authority you have given
us to take this new land, we will arise and conquer!’ Joshua and Caleb believed
in the promise, despite being under the restrictions of the old covenant. You
and I have been given a NEW covenant in Jesus, we get to REST in His finished
work, and in this fullness of time. You have crossed over into the NEW… and His
promises are awaiting you.
The Father is making your way 'fat', in other words, filled to overflowing with more than enough. All that you need, all that you require for the assignments before you, He is releasing PLENTY into your storehouses. Receive it by faith... not only physical resources, but spiritual... I believe this is going to be a time of great outpourings of His revelation knowledge as well. Just as the Israelites seized a land flowing in abundance with milk and honey, you too will seize the land promised you, flowing with more than enough of Kingdom resources and abundance.
