STEPPING INTO THE SLIPSTREAM OF YOUR TRANSITION

STEPPING INTO THE SLIPSTREAM OF YOUR TRANSITION

STEPPING INTO THE SLIPSTREAM OF YOUR TRANSITION

If you are like me in this season (and I know many of you are) where you are constantly asking God the same questions “What are you doing, where are we going?” then you know that you are setting yourself up for both encounter and revelation because there is nothing God loves more than when we are pursuing Him and expectant to know what is on His heart. This prophetic word is more or less just my continued conversation with God for clarity and definition of this time we are in.

NEW EASE, YOKES, & ENCOUNTERS

A few nights ago I woke up feeling God’s presence sensing He was going to speak.

“There is slipstream of my Spirit” I heard Him say. A slipstream is the flow of air or water behind a moving object that enables another object when in close proximity behind it to move effortlessly in its motion. It’s interesting to me that to step into the slipstream you have first been following the right object and secondly, you have to get close. This is God saying to us that as we stop being distracted by everything else wanting our attention and pursue only Him we will not only step into His slipstream where it’s no longer in our own strength but we will also experience the acceleration we have been praying for.

The key here is both attention and intimacy. We need to get close to Him and un-yoked with everything else that keeps pulling us in many different directions. If we are yoked to the wrong vehicle we won’t end up where God wants us and we will be exhausted and worn out. We have to yoke with Him and let Him carry us in this part of the transition!

Right now many people are running around like its a Black Friday sale and the Lord is wanting you to step into the flow of transition instead of working against it or tiring yourself out trying to figure it all out. REST IN THE FLOW!

This is a time of fresh encounter for you that is NECESSARY for what’s ahead. You can’t skip this step, God is inviting you into a makeover of His Glory that is going to remove every weight and burden and cause you to fall in love with Him in a way you haven’t known. Remember, this transition isn’t a life event, it’s the product of intimacy with Jesus and Him taking you from glory to Glory.

EXITS, CLOSING DOORS, & DEFINITION

The next thing I saw as I woke up were many doors in a long hallway that were closing, but what I noticed in this short vision was that as the doors closed it began to highlight an open door down the end of the corridor that had lighting shining out of it.

This is a time that God is removing the wrong things from the equation. Dreams, affections, ventures, and doors that while they may look good would be diversions to the ones God had assigned. I instantly thought “This is going to cause heartache” and heard God say “Not if they adjust their eyes to SEE what I’m revealing”.

Closed doors are sudden and unexplained exits from different situations, circles, and assignments that can cause so much confusion and pain but right now God is pulling many people out of wrong environments and situations and into places conducive for growth.

As I think back to the vision of the doors it was as if the closed doors only painted a huge big neon arrow in the direction of the open door. When God removes empty options it actually brings greater clarity and alignment to your process and DEFINES the timing. Right now there is such an acceleration on the process that soon we will see the expiry date on the waiting we have been in. Don’t fight, resist and kick back against this because it is only working for you to clear away the distractions and highlight what you need to be focussed on.

DELAY, DIRECTIONS & COORDINATES

Many have been in deep distress over the many decisions around them that need to be made and the many answers and wisdom they need to be able to advance. More than just a crossroad it feels like a complete standstill waiting for the final pieces of this play to be revealed. So many things are up in the air - jobs, homes, relocations, ministry changes, friendships, families, dreams and projects.

As I was talking to the Lord He spoke to me through Daniel 10:12-13;

“Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days”

Instantly the revelation came; Daniel was in prayer and fasting for an answer which was held up in the second heavens for 21 days as an angel and a demonic principality fought. 21 is the number that represents distress and is a unique cycle of time where strongholds lose their footing. I felt that this was significant of breaking through into clarity and past specific delays sent to hinder seeing properly. The word “Persia” means “division” so this assignment comes to scatter and DI-vide your vision so you feel lost and like God is not answering you.

As I was talking to the Lord about this I kept seeing a map on a phone giving directions where it details not only the route but gives the timing as well. In the next few weeks God is updating your transitional navigation revelation and updating your direction, route, and giving your specific details and insight on your destination and finally - the timing of the journey.

As the new direction comes you will be able to MOVE forward in ways you haven’t been able to. All of the distress and stretching you have been facing is going to be worth it.

PROVISION, SUSTENANCE, & FAITHFULNESS

There is a display of God’s goodness and faithfulness He wants to release to you right now to REMIND you that you don’t have to be the hero trying to orchestrate every facet of your life in transition. Just because the heat is on and you have to continually adapt and surrender to change doesn’t mean you are alone having to do this “self-made”.

As I sat there in Gods presence just soaking up the peace He was releasing a scripture bubbled up from my spirit;

“But you would be fed with the finest of wheat; with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.” —Psalm 81:17

Can we just land this right here? Wow, this says it all. Just like the Israelites in the desert that God gave water to from the rock, God wants us to feed and be satisfied on honey as we walk out this transition. That’s resting in His provision, His plan, His sustenance, and His presence. I felt like the honey was prophetically speaking of those who have felt like they had become frail and deficient throughout this season and God was right now giving them back strength, strength, and returning sweetness to their lives where long and difficult situations had zapped them.

As I’m writing this down I feel strongly that the Lord is wanting to heal people who actually feel bitter because it’s been so long since they have tasted God’s goodness or faithfulness. Holy Spirit I ask you right now to refresh them and let them taste your honey where they have only tasted disappointment in Jesus name. It’s a new day.

REST, WARFARE, & PROTECTION

Friends you have been the hamster in the wheel long enough in this journey, now it’s time to rest in His ability to guide your ship safely to harbour in your new land. Jesus has already gone before you as your fore-runner. There are no surprises to Him and there is nothing to fear ahead. He knows your coordinates, where you have been and where you need to be, and He is making sure you get there.

The key here is REST. Rest from trying to make things happen. Rest from striving, pushing, prodding, pacing, fighting, and working yourself into an anxious wreck. You will pass the test as you rest in his ability, in fact, if you don’t rest God is unable to properly reformat you for the new place you are stepping into. Moses was unable to enter the promised land -REST, because when God provided the rock full of water He disobeyed God by striking it with his rod instead of just speaking to it. How often do we do things our way when God wants us to watch HIM do the mighty miracles we need?

I feel that God’s rest and abiding in His presence is the strategy for the season. Yes it’s our lifestyle as believers but right now it’s also a prophetic strategy. It’s been a time where the assignment of hell has been to bombard you with so much witchcraft, chatter, resistance and opposition, and distraction to put a spirit of heaviness in you. The assignment has also been to bring you into temptation and slipping into the wrong kind of escape so he can trip you up and catch you out. Rest and being In God’s presence will realign your priorities and activities so that you aren’t burning out, as well as Insulate you from the constant torrent of noise. We HAVE to deal with warfare differently right now. We need to know when we have to swing our sword and when to ascend the mountain.

I am praying this week that you would trade in the anxiety and confusion of this season for the fresh oil and wine, that you’d trade in the hard uphill battle for the ease, the old heavy yoke for the light an easy one, and step into slipstream of his Spirit in Jesus name!

By Nate Johnston May 27, 2025
As we start this week, I have a word for many out there: Don’t miss your burning bush season. Or maybe I should say, don’t overlook your burning bush season. Don’t miss it. We often look at seasons where things don’t add up or make sense and diagnose them as seasons of waiting, seasons we’re just trying to survive until we get to the next destination, the next stop. We don’t always see the richness of what God is depositing in each season. In the last few days, I keep hearing this: Don’t miss your burning bush season. Remember the story of Moses? He was tending his father-in-law’s sheep in the wilderness when he saw the burning bush. He was simply doing his job, satisfied in it when suddenly, there was an encounter with God. And God pulled him out out of the wilderness, out of that environment, out of that situation, out of the guilt and shame of his past. God pulled him out and gave him an assignment. Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law… and the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up.” - Exodus 3:1–2 “God called to him from within the bush, ‘Moses! Moses!’ And Moses said, ‘Here I am.’” - Exodus 3:4 He was simply doing his job, when suddenly, there was an encounter with God. And God pulled him out of the wilderness, out of that environment, out of that situation, out of the guilt and shame of his past. God pulled him out and gave him an assignment. “So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.” - Exodus 3:10 And I believe we are in a moment right now that, to many, feels like a standstill. It feels like a hiatus after a long season of pioneering for the Lord, one that has strangely led to this place of wilderness. As I’ve been sharing for a while, we’ve been in a Hosea 2 season, where the Lord has been leading the Church back into the wilderness. That wilderness has been necessary for you. You’ve needed respite. You’ve needed refreshing. You’ve needed to break away from the hustle so God could reset you and bring you back to encounter, which is the ultimate reset. That’s what truly resets you. You’ve taken on so many mantles and jackets—Saul’s armor—for years. You don’t know which way is up anymore, or what your assignment is, who you’re called to, or who you’re not called to. You don’t know where your alignments are meant to be. You’ve had your hands in too many pies, your feet muddy from too many places. You’ve been slimed, slandered. You’ve walked through heartache, difficulty, betrayal. Yet, you’ve felt the compulsion to step into anything just to feel like you’re not lost. But no, the wilderness has been necessary to set you free. Here’s what you need to know: the wilderness can shift quickly because the wilderness leads to encounter, and encounter launches you into your new assignment. I say this over you and prophesy: you are in a very small window of time where the Lord is doing a massive work. The time isn’t long but the work is deep. Let me say that again: the time isn’t long, but the work is deep. God is going deep generationally. This isn’t a short cleanup process. God is going deep into your life, and He wants to set your feet on a new foundation. That’s right this season you’re in right now is a season of a brand-new slab being laid in your life. A new foundation. What is foundation? It’s where God gets you ready, gears you up for the new thing He’s going to build in your life, around you, and through you. Last year, we went to Australia, and the Lord gave me a dream: two towers crumbling to the ground. He said, “You’re at ground zero.” That’s what this is—a ground zero. A new slab has been laid in your life. God is going low and slow right now. He’s getting you ready because many of us have built for years without a foundation—without solid structure or deep roots. So God’s been setting that right for the new season, and for the Church. But we often misdiagnose seasons of fresh foundation as stagnancy, when they’re anything but. When the Lord sets your heart right, He aligns you to a rhythm and a synergy you didn’t know in the past season. He sharpens your discernment your ability to see and know what’s true. He leads you to the right people, right places, and right environments. I believe one key part of this new foundation is that God is leading many out of loneliness and isolation. He’s not just setting your feet upon the rock of salvation He’s breaking off orphan mentalities, the hustle, the striving and leading you into an Acts 2 infrastructure: community, family, people who hold your arms up so you can thrive. This foundation includes restoration God restoring the years the locusts have eaten. And He’s doing that right now. Now for the weighty part of this word: That moment with Moses at the burning bush was more significant than we often realize. It was like Elisha being mantled by Elijah a sudden shift into his true calling. In that moment, God told Moses: “ Go. Set my people free.” And Moses responded, “But God, I don’t know how to speak.” God replied, “When you go, I will give you the words. I will give you signs. I will give you the power.” “Moses said to the Lord, ‘Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent…’ And the Lord said to him, ‘Who gave human beings their mouths?… Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.’” - Exodus 4:10–12 He didn’t just send Moses on an impossible mission. He backed him with the power of heaven. And I feel the word of the Lord right now for many who have been in this season of waiting: You have been fashioned and formed to be a voice for the Lord in this next season. To set the Church free. To set the bound free. God is raising up unconventional, unusual, untrained voices who carry His heart. And I prophesy, in the mighty name of Jesus: this is your burning bush season. You are stepping out of the wilderness and into the bold voice God has called you to be. Let me go one step further: This week look. Look for the signs in your life of breakout. Look for the moments. The encounters. Because that’s where God is waiting for you. You’re looking for external change, for doors to open. But you’re missing the door that’s already swung wide open: the door of encounter. The door to the secret place. The door that leads into the tent of meeting. That’s what I’m calling you to. That’s what God is commissioning you into - a season of intimacy and encounter. So let me prophesy over your - this week, your wilderness shifts. It shifts from waiting to encounter, from wandering aimlessly to walking in clarity. The fog lifts. The silence breaks. Heaven is speaking. Dreams come now! Insight floods your spirit like a rushing river. May the full healing of the wilderness come—so the rest, the restoration, the commissioning can follow. Lord, raise up your wild voices. Those untrained by man but marked by fire. Those who have met You in hidden places. Let them rise now, rooted, ready, and roaring in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Something is stirring in the Spirit—a revival is breaking forth in the heart of Orange County, California. But it’s bigger than California, this is just the birthing ground. A stake in the ground of sorts. A place that will send a shock-wave to the nations of the earth. Because ultimately, this is about a global move of God we are preparing for. God has called us to pioneer an Apostolic Hub—a place of fire, prayer, equipping, and sending. This isn’t just a ministry…it’s a movement. We believe Southern California is not lost or without hope. It’s primed for awakening. So with the mandate of California at the epicenter, and the nations as our inheritance, this is about God’s heart for His people EVERYWHERE. But in order to fulfill this assignment, we cannot do this alone. We’re writing to ask you to join us—not just as a spectator, but as a builder. The harvest is ready, but the laborers and resources are few. We need: — Intercessors to cover this move of God in prayer. — Financial partners to sow into this Kingdom mandate. — Servant-hearted builders to help establish the foundation. This Global Apostolic Hub will be a place where lives are transformed, leaders are raised, and revival spreads regionally and globally. But we need your help to build it. If you've been praying for revival to spread across the nations—this is your moment to act. 👉 CLICK HERE TO PARTNER WITH US FINANCIALLY! 👉 SUBSCRIBE TO OUR PARTNER EMAILS! 👉 EMAIL US HERE TO GET INVOLVED AND STAY UP TO DATE WITH FUTURE EVENTS! I heard the Lord say: This is a roots movement. This is a moment where I have humbled my Church not to punish her, but to heal her. To purify her. To prune her for the coming harvest. My Church had grown accustomed to the bloom, the fruit, the outward beauty and what man sees, celebrates, and calls success. But right now, my glory is resting on what looks ordinary. What looks unpopular. Even what appears ugly or overlooked. Man says it’s about charisma. About the lights and smoke machines. About loud worship and grandeur. But my glory in this hour is resting on the grassroots, the simple, the foolish. On that which looks like a seed, small, buried, and unseen yet saturated by My glory. I’ve looked into the hearts of My people. I’ve seen a deep longing for what is real. For what is authentic. For what draws them back to Me not a performance, but an encounter. Not hype, but holy. For too long, My name was exalted in systems that celebrated man’s wisdom, man’s comforts, and man’s movements. But now, their brokenness is leading them back on unfamiliar paths toward what looks small, humble, and unthreatening. And yet it is pregnant with promise. That place you’ve overlooked is where I’ve hidden the seeds of My next great outpouring. A place people will say, “Surely revival can’t come from there.” But that is exactly where My Spirit is about to be poured out. I’ve chosen a people who have chosen the low road. Those who refuse to chase platforms or prestige. If you choose the low road, My Spirit will get the glory. If you humble yourself in this season if you choose the way few choose you will experience personal revival. You will see the fulfillment of the promises I made over nations. But it starts with the roots. Can you not see? I’ve been cutting back the tree. I’ve been stripping away the opulence because it came, and My glory lifted. The spectacle increased, but signs and wonders diminished. Man became too familiar with My anointing, relying on giftings instead of My Spirit. He who has ears, let him hear: I am doing a new thing in this hour, but it won’t look like what you’re used to. I’m bringing My Church back to its roots. Back to Acts. Back to the place of birth where it was messy, but it was beautiful. And right now, many are feeling the tension. You can feel the pull into something new, but it feels like your branches are being cut back. Some feel like nothing more than a stump, a root in the ground. But from that root will grow something powerful if you let Me water you. If you let Me tend to you. I’m uprooting the weeds and tares from past seasons things that have choked your family, your calling, your mind, your marriage. I’m clearing the soil so that what grows next will be healthy, sustainable, and lasting. I’ve brought My Church low so that what is planted now will remain for generations. This is not the end. This is a rebirthing. You will experience My glory again, says the Lord. So if you feel lost…if the doors are closing…if your resources are drying up…if you’re staring at impossible debt or deep lack… know that I am there. -I am in the midst of your marriage. -I am in the midst of that prodigal child. -I am in the midst of your finances. -I am in the midst of your health. The enemy has lied to you, but I am taking an ax to the root of those lies. Not to destroy your life but to prune it. To cut back what was killing you. To free you from generational cycles and mindsets that have left you worn out and barely holding on. I am bringing you into wholeness. I am bringing you into freedom. Can you not see it? And here is My call to the Church: -If you will prepare a place for Me to dwell… -If you will come low… -If you will humble yourself… I will come. And the people will come. The broken will come. The world that is truly searching for Me will come. Roots movements are beginning to burst forth across the earth. They look like Davids in the field unnoticed, uninvited, seemingly insignificant. Yet they carry My glory. Soon, they will grow. And the world will recognize their fruit and like the pearl in the field many will give away everything to buy the field. The hidden ones will emerge to join the song of the lamb. And they will become dispensaries of My presence where healing, signs, wonders, and the fresh and mighty outpouring of my spirit will flow!
